The engine is a bow tie tall deck gen IV. I actually had the same motor in a different twin turbo configuration in a 1997 253 Convincor. It was making about 1200 hp but it was impossible to keep a drive together so I decided to go up to a 300 and rig it with a #6. The engine is now making over 1500hp. I use a Bam 1500 dry sump tranny and the drive is a 1:24 ratio. We're still doing prop testing and think that the boat will be in the area of 115-120. I have seen a best of 114 but that was before upping the power to the current levels. We use Big Stuff3 engine management and also control boost with the ecu.

Only part I don't like about your boat is it gets to speed so fast and then the funs over already.
