Anybody running a ZT 260 with around 700 hp? If so what kind of numbers are you getting.

i have 375. lol
i would love to have 700 tho!!!!!!!

any photos?

i would have to guess 700 hp would push that boat in the high 80's proped right

525 pushes 70 ish, 375 pushes mine 62 ish

No pictures yet. In the building process. Should be finished in about 5 or 6 weeks. Going with a 588 ci fuel injected tall deck, ITS gimble, xr drive with -2 sportmaster.

True 700hp with higher Torque numbers than 700 ballpark 81mph. What are you thinking

i would say 80+ is realistic. im pushing 560 hp and running 74 with the right prop. don't forget its a lake boat though.. mark

I'm hoping for 85+. Going with the shorty, may be hoping for to much.

Checkmate said that boat with a stock XR drive would be in the high 70s with a 525 mercury racing engine right out of the box with 80 not being out of the question.

i estimated my 242/260 convincor at 650-675hp and it ran 83 gps
550hp at motor not prop ran at 73 gps

i think your 85 should be no problem.

You better do some good research before you go with that shorty. Checkmate only research you might be hurting more than you are helping

The shorty was part of the deal with the drive. I am aware that I may have to add a spacer. Just have to see when we get it in the water.
