Sounds like you are leaving some speed on the table. You should be able to get your slip below 15%. Even at 15% you would be +4 MPH.

Update on the motor build. I don't have the build sheet in front of me but a quick synopsis....

Bandit Racing
Gen V 454 bored .30 (460cu)
Dyno- 602 hp / 570tq
6000rpm

No idea what my top end is going to be but I'm sure it will be significantly higher than my 1997 454mag with 550hrs. Going to start with a 24 bravo for testing. All new livorsi gauges, mayfair steering, full cover and detailing. Can't wait til they call me for the dial in time,

I have a notched 300 and i run a 30p Bravo 1,is there that much difference between a straight hull and a notched hull?

About 5mph topend. What motor/hp are you
