25 & 28 Convincer ?
Do these hulls have a pad bottom, or are they true 24 degree bottom? Also what kind of performance can be expected from a 28 Convincer with twin 350 Mags (270HP) ? Thanks.

What year models are you talking about? Not sure but I think Checkmate running surfaces are all about the same. Pad bottom.

All Checkmate offshore bottoms have a 24 degree deadrise , but they also have what you could call a pad incorperated into it......The 28 bottom has stayed the same over the years.....with the exception of the current single engine bottom( it's been notched).....the 25 has changed over the years 251 or GTX , was a narrow little bottom and the 253 was wider, and the 259 (270) is even wider. A 28 with 350's should run around 70MPH.
