Default 2010 300 Convincor 496HO 58mph help!!

2010 300 Convincor with a single 496HO 25 hours

24 pitch three blade prop, 1.5 Bravo X drive.

Its getting all the RPMs it should from a 496HO


WOT its top speed is only 58mph!!

What is wrong with the boat????


Should run 10 mph faster.

My guess is that's about all she is going to run in a 30. 58-64 depending location. Temps and water conditions.
In a 26 zt your lucky to see 62-65 with same motor

Is it the 300 from alton blakley ? I don't think it's a notched hull.

Correct, it is the boat from Alton Blakley.

So they made notched and non-notched hulls in the same boat?

Its really a 28' boat. And its light.


Checkmate says it should run 68 mph with a single 496HO

There is a 300 with a 525efi that runs 81 mph. 58 to 81 mph with 100-115 more hp???!!

You can get the 300 with a notched transom or without , notched is faster. I tried a 3 blade prop on mine and it didn't like it, blowout and lots of slip so I went back to the 24 bravo. Later I got bblades to build me a prop, brett put some cup in it and it was much better.
