Default 2010 ZT 275 review/feedback

I am looking at a 2010 ZT 275 with a 496 HO. Does anyone have any feedback they can provide me with? Ride-comfort-speed-quality of boat? I was told by the dealer top speed of 70 mph. Any truth to this being a Baja with the checkmate name in it? Is that or should that be a concern?

The H2X the 275 and 342 molds were on their way to the Bucyrus dump after Reggie acquired Baja, and arrived at Checkmate is the story I heard.....if it has a faria speedo, it will probably run 70 ....65 would be more realistic

the 275 ZT is the Baja 275. Same mold, same boat. I don't think Checkmate has made too many of them. I looked at 1 back when Checkmate acquired the molds. It was nice. The interior was slightly nicer than the Baja version.

Did you end up buying it? Found 2010 for sale as well and wondered how it worked out for you?

Yes. I've done some digging looks like it's been for sale since Aug 2017. Did you look at the boat?

No, but Tom emailed me 20-30 pictures. From the pictures, boat was clean. Last year the boat had 25 hours on it. From memory, last year they wanted 45k I think. I drove past it a couple weeks ago leaving Raystown. From the road it looked beautiful

Yea I love the boat he's asking 42k now. Problem is I'm almost 11 hours from it. Just hate to drive all the way there and it not end up being what's said about it. Any particular reason you didnt and up going with it?

The wife and I really fell in love with the sunsation we looked at. I will say I had the same thought you had about how long the boats been for sale. With a strong economy people are spending money right now. My boat search took 8-9 months of looking at this site powerboat online and boat trader daily. We found a 29 fever in Georgia that I was going to pull the trigger on. Plan was fly down-make purchase-have boat shipped to my house. boat sold that day. I can tell you from my limited experience if you buy a boat private sale have a marine survey performed. Small investment to protect you from any unforeseen problems.
