Yes I hang around Dalhousie a lot!!! I am just around the corner actually on the other side of the canal but I hang at Dalhousie almost every day in the summer at the beach or along the west wall in the evenings.

I have a 1986 210 Scorpion.
We bought the boat new in 1986. Sold it in 1999, and I bought it back in 2009.
It seems to be a great boat, but not sure how many still exist.
I am restoring the interior to the original colors, and hope to get it all done by the summer. Right now, I am trying to figure out the hinge on the cubby hatch. Any pictures would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
bob

Hi fiat4.
I had a 210 many years ago. Great boat, but terrible drivetrain. I had an omc and hated it! I hope yours has a Merc!?!
Good little starter boat for sure.

Yep,
Mine is a Mercrusier with a Alpha one. Has about 500 hours on it.
Looks like the picture is a 230?
So, the last 230 I looked at had hull through exhaust, was that standard?
Also, can you take some pictures of the the "hinge" for the plexi hatch?
I have the plexi hatch, and part of the hinge is attached to the boat, but I have no idea how the plexi hatch part of the hinge works or looks like.
Thanks,
Bob

Hi Bob.
The beige boat with the brown trim was my old 210. It's still around Niagara as I see it out on the water from time to time and I haven't owned it for a decade!
The grey boat is not a 230 but a 260 with twins and thru-hull exhast. I still have both boats in the picture. I am keeping the 390x (forever!) but am selling the 260 presently.

I've really enjoyed reading all of your posts on the Chris Craft Scorpion's
I own 2 of them one is a 1984 Scorpion 210 open bow and the other is a 1987 Scorpion 210 LTD open bow
I LOVE both of them and they really turn heads on the trailer and in the water. I'm in the process of restoring the 87 LTD's interior. Both have 5.7 (350 Chevy) engines the Ltd has an OMC out drive and the 84 has a Mercruser.
As far as I'm concerned it was the finest boat ever built and the ride on flat water or rough water is amazing even more stable than any bigger boat I’ve ever owned. My LTD when finished will have Thru hull exhaust and the motor has been rebuilt as a 425Hp performance engine with lots of chrome. I'll post some pics as soon as I can
Again thanks for all the info I’ve picked up here

Hello, I have an '88 scorpion 210 it has a 350 chevy with an alpha one outdrive. I am in the proscess off refinishing the boat now will try to post some pics when i can was thinking of leaning more towards the classic boat paint scheme flag blue with a red boot stripe but it does have the go fast lines! Wondering if any of you have any ideas on that. Also I have a 19p 3 blade prop on it but I want to get some more speed out of it could I use a 21p 4 blade prop to get a little more speed?
