I have a 400 in the Bay liner I bought last summer and I loved it (since bought a stinger so it's for sale ) every one said you can't put a 400 in a boat it will not work or last , but I beg to differ I ran the ass off it and it worked great! Cruse 42 @ 3600 all afternoon 50 wide open .
GM builds the merc,I am prob going to slap a set of good heads and a decent cam for this season,I don't want to put too much into this boat,I am going to buy something over 30 ft in a year or two,I do my work myself so I could save alot there,I don't know why people would say not to run a 400??? They are good,I was going to do it too,I do know they are known for block problems, good power though.

The boat runs out very well, I should have bought it myself when I found it. Sounds awsome with the transom exhaust too.
