You may very well be correct , I'm not sure , the swim platform is fiberglass and contures to the rear of the boat where as my Dads is wood. It has a merc 260 and an alpha one.

Just for conversation sake... I know that my 87 260 stinger has a raised deck compared to Dave's 85 scorpion. (Might have been Mange that pointed it out actually.)

yeah, i have an 86 stinger 222. the 222 is very different from the 230 in the picture. Its gotta be a scorpion with stinger badges. Cool boat either way though.

I was out at the storage place yesterday and I noticed my 86 has a plastic plaque on each side below the wind wing that says 230 scorpion limited and the cabin door top has a scorpion emblem also , then it has stinger stickers on the sides. Is it as scorpion with stinger stickers only then?
