The 230SL Limited has the swim platform that is fiberglass and matches the boat lines and paint. The 232 has a cruiser type profile with windows etc. The differences between the 39 Stinger and my 39 Scorpion is the seating and the raised deck on the Scorpion for more headroom in the cabin. Was looking some more for your issue. In the 1984 brochure there is a boat identical to yours. If you can blow it up to see, on the transom it actually says Scorpion but on the sides it says Stinger. In the 1985 and 1986 brochures, neither one has the 230 Stinger.If you send me your email, I could send this in a larger format for you to download and print if wanted.
