Default Guesstimate on chriscat with twin 400r ?

Even though it probably has not been done yet, there must be people here who ran them with different or similar hp outboard engines, so my question is how fast you yhink an old heavy pig would run with these? With the growing popularity of outboard, just wondering if that might be my ticket to repower when im done restoring the boat!

so !

speed?

What are some of the fastest old-school boats out there, stock.

pic in last link (swoopy deck and outboard well) looks nice, ask around the cat forums and general discussion area

80+ should be realistic. Check if the bottom has excessive hook.

Looking for Chris Cat photos

My boat runs low 70s with dwp lowers,****ty props and barely breaking 5000 rpm.

A properly setup 400r s/m boat would run right at 100 mph i think.
