Here is one im workN on right now tryN 2 c if the 454 bb upgrade from the 350 will hold. still have an alpha 1 drive. Neone know if u can change 2 a bravo?

I read in another tread that 2 x 454 side by side would not fit because of the width inside, unless you go in fiberglass modification on stringers. As far as alpha on 454, if you are polite on start and don't get air borned if could hold well, but it is not the best set up reliability speaking if you play rough...

My Marlin was a single 260 Alpha package and we changed it to a 502. Not that big of a problem. Merc will send you a template to lay out on the transom if you call them. The hole is bigger than the Alpha so didn't have to glass anything. Also attached pictures of 1983 39 Scorpion
