Save the NOS $....It's not the answer for boats. If you prop for it..You are wrong without it.and vice-versa. and....
how long do you hold the button ? a few seconds ? you will empty your bottles everytime you need it.

cool birdog appreciate the advice what i was going to do is set it up to run 5500 rpm naturally and 6700 on the nos so props won't be an issue. my engine builder has done this on several boats with sucess. if it doesn't work then ill use blowers. but my thinking is with nos i can run 87 octane once i arm the nos it will turn the 87 off and start pumping straight race fuel from the pony tank wait a few second let it fill the carbs and use the nos for 4 to 5 sec bursts.

On an offshore boat 4-5 sec isn't jack. And the extra money and work to set up the rig with and extra tank and an engine to spin that high (and use NOS), you could better spend it on building better engines that will last. 6700 rpm is pretty high!
Seriously, 4-5 or even 10-20 sec NOS bursts isn't going to do any good on a 30-45 minute offshore ride, not to mention what you could possibly do to the motors if you have to let off and get back on it if you come out of the water. If you're only boating on a smooth lake and you want that kind of speed, get a 21-28' cat with outboards.

I've only received 3 PM's with info, so including my boat I've 4. Pretty piss poor performance from the Bullet owners IMHO.
So I've given up and won't be hassling anyone one anymore. Plus winter is almost over and I can start boating again vice just talking about it. If more would show interest, maybe I'll try again NEXT winter....

Welcome 88Bullet,
IMO, you now own the best rough water boat in the 30' range. Your speeds may not be as fast as newer hulls, but in exchange, you get a sweet ride, and a nice cabin to boot. You may have already read this previously, but there were 68 bullets made from 1988 until the mid 90's. If you need Cig parts, I've always had luck with Lipship Marine, but Cig parts in general are pretty expensive. Let me know if you need a manual for your new toy and I'll send a copy.
