Cigarette Playboy Question
#1
Here's one for Dreamer and whoever else wants to chime in. There is a '01 straight bottom Tiger that's been for sale for quite some time that is advertised as a "Playboy Edition" here on OSO. Randy Sweers now has it listed on his site. Well, just out of curiosity, I emailed Cigarette to see if it was just an appearance package or what the Playboy Edition really consisted of. Bud Lorow emails me back and says they never made a Playboy Tiger. I really like the boat (low hours, Bulldogs, XRs) but it concerns me that Cigarette says they never made one of these. Anybody got the skinny on this?

Bud is the test driver for Cigarette. He has also been there for ages. He would be the authority to tell you what's up. He normally runs every boat that comes out of the factory and has for years. It looks legit, but who knows?? I would take his word or Neil's

are you shure it is a straight bottom boat ? randy has it at top speed of 75 mph on his site. that seens a bit quick for a straight bottom. the weight his is listing is also light for a straight bottom boat.

Bud is correct, the Tiger you are referring to is NOT a Playboy Edition. It was built/designed for a customer that wanted it to look like one without the Playboy Logos all over it. It is a straight bottom boat w/ Bulldogs and XR's on boxes.
Currently, I think there is a contract written on it. I'd call Tony @ 314.581.3532 to find out the real story.

Thanks for the info guys. I knew someone would know the deal on this boat. It is definitely a straight bottom - there's a picture of it on the crane in the latest ad. Stecz, you the one that has the contract on this boat?
