Well after 2 weeks of work, I fired the starboard motor off in the boat for the first time in 6 years. Should have the port engine fired off tomorrow if all goes as planned (it never does). From there it's all about the punch list and tuning the Holley EFI before I get to really have fun with this. Either way, this is far more progress than has been made in 4 years.

Well I'll be damned, it still floats. Took it out for about an hour just going easy on it and doing a little tuning. I need to add second idle air control valves to each motor as it just doesn't move enough air to compensate for the large props on the shift, but I'll get that handled soon. Otherwise, it ran pretty well. I need to do some datalogging to make sure expected AFR and actual AFR are matching up as well as make sure my fuel system is keeping up before I really start to lean on it. It's going to be a process, but hopefully slow and steady keeps me from hurting another motor.

I'm glad I could inspire you! Great to see it floating on the lake again.
