Mavrick10-- Ithink you have the best looking boat out there. :drink: I love that paintjob.
It looks like you got the idea from Mark W's 46 Skater "Double Take". |

I posted the wrong pic by accident and changed it. The one's with "775" are the ones in his former Gladiator. The other ones were from the 45 Maximus at the Lauderdale show.
These are from the Maximus. Notice the difference in rigging between the two pictures. |

Hey Gerrard, good luck with the Gladiator. I know you've been looking at them for a while. Can't wait to see it on the water in Havasu! I was looking for the Powerplay out there last weekend.

Anyways, I love TODD's (Pudges old) gladiator and was actually looking at it hard until we decided to go with a new boat.
I am not trying to take anything away from you boat It is one sweet ride you have. But Todd boat ran 104 mph with a pair of Zul's 700 hp and a friend of mine has the same set up as you and his boat has a hard time running 100 mph what did you do to get yours to run 105 I would like to pass the info on to him so he can get a some speed out of his Rick OSG |

We just picked up this 04' Gladiator w/ 775 Zuls just over a month ago. The boat is crazy fast and not scary at 100. Our last boat was a TS TG w/525's and they are all great rides.

Yes, our old TS TG is in CT now. The Zuls are killer! They run super smooth and burn less gas than our 525's did under 3500 RPM. The boat has unbelievable midrange. It is a blast to drive! Our motors are carburated. If you did new ones from zul he has a nice EFI setup that would be very cool. |

Out of curiosity.... what inspired the switch from a TG to a Glad? Nice boat. I always loved the graphics on this one! Joe |

Nice boat. I always loved the graphics on this one! Joe We always loved the Glads but were actually going to buy a Nortech 36 Supercat but the insurance cost was insane. Through a friend we hooked up with Phil who just got this Glad literally 1 day before we flew down and it was so nice we couldn't pass it up. I loved the TS Top Gun! The Gladiator is just so comfortable. The boat is a little better balanced with the staggered setup. With the 775's, the boat absolutly rips! It is a little bit of a b*tch around the docks especially without a rubrail but you get used to it. I guess it is a change of pace from the TG. |
Re: Gladiator pics
I agree we came from a 575 TG and bought a Glad from Phil. Other than around the docks and backing it into a slip (little more tricky) it's sweet. What drives, props and rotation are you running?
|
Re: Gladiator pics
The drives are Bravo XR ITS with Imco upgraded internals.
Six blade Herrings turning in. |

Do you have any performance data between running the Herrings and the Merc props?
