Rick's and Mavrick10's Glads are by FAR the 2 nicest. And Fastest. :D

eeee, not sure about BOTH being the fastest. Enriques former boat hauled.....ass. Neil, Phil, and I hit 108 3-4 different times on the way to Monty's. Pulled my passport right out of my pocket and into the ocean.

Pudges last boat was even faster than that. :eek:

Enriques. (yes, there are others with the same paint, not near as fast) :D

Re: Gladiator pics

TSG, You're right. I forgot about Enriques boat. I saw it at Phil's right as it was getting finished. I really like the right-side throttles on that custom bolster.

Thanks for the correction. OSG's is still TOP DOG though, right?

Re: Gladiator pics

What's the preferred backseat? Is the backseat that Pudge had in his last Gladiator any better than the bench seat they put in the 02's? It doesn't really seem like the middle person can hold on untill they came out with the backseat that has the handles?

Yeah, OSG is still TOP DOG, 113mph I believe

Depends upon your use.With the staggered set-up,the middle person is close enough to the front seats to grab the handles on the back of the front seats..The three man bolster set-up makes an already small cockpit almost useless.It looks cooler,but in my opinion,not worth it.
p.s. Phil advised me against it as well.

Re: Gladiator pics

Brandon is correct on that one guys. My boat isn't in the top of the Gladiator group on speed but it's close. 104-105. However, I did talk to Mike D. at SOTW and he said when it gets time to pull the motors and go through them we could Dry Sump them and pull around 40 more hp out of them. That may put me up in the 108 range then but that is down the road a couple summers. i'll post some pics when i can from another computer.

Re: Gladiator pics

Roger that, Mavrick10. Always wanted to say that.......... :D

Your boat and OSG's are MY FAVORITE CIGS. Period !!

Before you pull the motors to dry sump, remember that will be about the time that your value my finances intersect. :rolleyes:

Hope to see you at the shootout or another event.

We rode in one of Phils new Gladiators and I'll tell you this...The rear seats with the grab handles are TIGHT! I'm no skinny guy but dam, they were uncomfortable. I'd stick with the bench set up. Of course if you're just going to fill the rear seat with hot skinny chicks, then you're fine! :drink:

Mavricks are tight too, which is great because you eliminate ANY question of the quality of women riding. His boat is really really nice. He, is another story. :drink:

Re: Gladiator pics

OSG being the top 36 on speed, I think Pudges last boat has to be 2nd. It was really fast.

The bottom line is all the Gladiator that Phil at LIP - SHIP built with Richie Zul racing engines in them. These boats ran these numbers when they were fist built

PUDGE = 108 with Zul's 775 HP
ENRIQUE = 106 with Zul's 725 HP
TODD The Gladiator = 104 with Zul's 700 HP
TOMMY A old boat = 102 with Zul's 700 HP

This one says it runs 105mph with 500EFI with Vortechs :D

I really like the way they just left the cover on the ground to take the picture :eek:

mavrick10 07-14-2005 09:41 PM

Re: Gladiator pics

i know Zul's are the sh*t but i have to brag on the Sterlings i went with a little bit. They dynoed at 730 hp each. I'm running right at 105. With 730's that puts me in the category with TODD The Gladiator which means i'm running right there with him. Correct me if i'm wrong but I thought Pudge's boat actually had 775 Zul's?? Anyways, I love TODD's (Pudges old) gladiator and was actually looking at it hard until we decided to go with a new boat.

Mavrick10 - On a previous thread I bashed your interior, remember the Micky D's comment? Now that I have actually seen the entire boat (at Grand lake) I must say I was completely mistaken. Now that I've seen it in context, its a perfect match. :drink: :drink:
