Stereo in a Bullet
#1
I upgraded the stereo in my Bullet!
I removed the two speakers that were "under" the front seats and put them in the cabin. The cabin now has four speakers. Under the front seats are now two 10-inch subs.
I also added four speakers in the cockpit.
There are now two (Marine Commander) remotes. One on the passenger side of the cockpit and one on the stern.
The head unit (a Sony CDX-F605X) has three sources, AM/FM, CD, and IPod. The remotes have a display, and you can not only control the IPod with the remote, you can also see the IPod display on the remote display.
I also have a switch so that I can turn off the Amp to the cockpit speakers. This way I can have some "private time" in the cabin with a Claymate (or two) after dark without blasting the entire cove.
It sounds great!
