Saturday night we hold a Texas BBQ for $20 cooked by TX experts and then an auction of what-ever the attendees bring with them to donate. You never know, might be some neet Cig. memorbilia up for auction since I'm pretty sure 2 20' Cigs. will be in attendance.

RWS - Unfortunately, the Jamestown resort does not allow group gatherings after the Memorial Day holiday. With the Spring rains, I've always tried to keep the dates as close to Memorial Day as possible to help keep us away from trash floating on the lake. The first year in 2000, the gathering happened on Mother's Day weekend which for some obvious reasons created a few problems for some who wanted to attend. Ever since, the gathering has been held the weekend before Memorial Day.

Not sure, but this policy may be part of the reason the Lake Cumberland Poker Run has moved across the inlet to the State Dock because Jamestown will also not allow group gatherings until after the Labor Day holiday. Maybe that had nothing to do with the change. Really don't know.

Update as were only 2 weeks away from the gathering. The Boater's Life website staff will be in attendance to do a story on our gathering. They'll be taking pictures and shooting video. If your planning to attend, be ready to show off your boats and give a description of what your running.
