Top Gun 38 weight and speed

I'm not sure Daniel. My guess is 3-5 mph??? I have owned several TG's but each was set up so differently that I don't have an accurate comparison. You might try calling Bud at Cigarette.
What drive/power package is your TG?
By turning the props inward they will carry the bow better which helps with a full cabin boat. The downside is it will not handle around the docks as well.

Hi Dennis,
thank you very much for your infos. My TG has two 800hp
supercharged engines with Bravo 1.5 drives with stock X dim.
I'm turning the Bravo One lab finished 32" props out and
get 84mph in fresh water. But I'm still in testing process.

Daniel,
My TG is a 1998 Kevlar, half cabin, around 850hp, Imco 2" shorter lowers, 1.36 gear, 30 pitch lab props. Radar at 90mph at the LOTO Shootout last year. I keep the motors at low boost to help save the drives. I pick up 3-5mph in the rough water. I'm considering blueprinting and sanding the bottom. If I can give you any more info let me know. I'll try to attach a couple of pic's.
