I relly dont want to be the bad guy here... but I still say the boat is toast.. even if you get it looking ok the heat alone from the fire will damage the glass & make it unsafe. Just some friendly advice. move on to bigger & better things.

just my 02ct. :party-smiley-004:

Thanks Robbie , That would be very much appreciated. [email protected]. Also, does anyone know about the pink flamingo story. Looks like I can see some previous letters on the hull , but I can't make them out.

sorry to say ,but i don't think that boat will be structurely sound anymore ,those sides won't ever be as strong as when they were layed up new and be too flexible,,sorry but i don't want a fast ride in it

It's a great boat....I think the only reason it hasn't sold are the TRS's...Don't let them scare you. Great drives with parts still available and great potential for upgrade (i.e. Konrads). Tell Robert hello for me.

My sides will be stronger than before and anything that even looks bad will be removed. Also it is being done by professionals and not in someones backyard.:cool-smiley-011:

once fixed properly, no problem in my opinion...

Robbie, I got the pictures but I'm having trouble with my e-mail so I will post them later.

Thanks!

The trailer looks great, so off to a good start. Did you do it or have it done somewhere locally?

customryder 06-25-2008 09:57 AM

as I said.. dont shoot the messenger, I admire your will to repair the boat, Just dont think it will ever be the same.. do yourself a favor & call some glass experts.. Just trying to save you some grief, time, money.... who is doing the repairs???

good luck with the boat.

Jeff

I built the trailer myself. I cut the cross members on a fri. night after work and towed it home sat. night. It took about 11 hours to get it roughed in. The wiring and fenders/steps are what took a long time.
