I was in Miami this past week and had dinner with Jerry Jacoby on Tuesday night.
We were speaking about how much of an influence his orignal 37.6 Cigarette, AJAC HAWK, had on the industry and Cigarette in particular.
Did you know that Don never made a deck mold for the 35 and 37.6 race boats......he just took the old 36 foot decks and trimmed them to the narrower width to fit.
I will be sure to pass on these photos to Jerry and let him know the influence is still going on.
You have done an outstanding job and are to be commended on the quality of the work....Don would have been proud of the final product.

Truely a labor of love.
If you ever redo the Cig logos use the ITC century font for the letters. It's whats in the actual logo. 99% of people won't notice but with that nice of a refurbish it's too bad they aren't 100% accurate.
That aside, it is one very nice boat and you should be commended!

one of the nicest resrtores i have seen,That boat probably gives ya a boner when ya see it in the sunlight...............................Really nice job,it does not matter what ya spend all that matters is you dig it..........**** i dig it too......
