I'd be careful with the buy/resell thing -- you might find yourself with close to 50+ into it and then not find a buyer. If you want to keep it for a while that's different:eureka:

There is a huge selection of older cigs out there right now that are in that price range. It is a nice looking boat though. Good luck with what ever you decide.

Your boat looks great Craig. Did you say yours is kevlar and if so when and for how long did they do the kevlar. I am looking at a 1990 that has been gutted and redone. Is it possible that this is a kevlar boat and if so what is the weight difference? It is a 3a boat with solid n/a power. thanks Hammer

We are redoing a cabin a an early 90s boat right now. 38 foot seems a lot bigger when your doing that stuff.

Confirmed..it is a 1987. I was going to buy it, finish it really nice and offer it for re-sale, now I'm not sure what I'd be able to profit.

Keep it, for 40,000 plus interior, you cant go wrong............... as far as making a profit, It will be hard now since the price has already been stated, plus its a boat :D

If you are looking for something to keep for some time and have fun with and not too concerned with big MPH & natural motors, (non stepped) do it ! Your not gonna make big $ to try and finish than re sell . good luck !

Boat Is An 87 For Sure. Im The One Selling It. Have A Lot Into It But It Has Been On Trailer For Two Years Now And I Have Lost Interest. I Paid Forty For It When It Was In Original Condition From The Original Owner. Now That I Have Two Years And Another 15000. Into It I Am Done. Some One Please Take This Thing From Me.

FSHNJNKE - Do you still have the boat? If so I might be interested in a decent structurally sound boat that I could get my hands dirty on. An idle mind is a devil's playground!
