Default Length and height for a 38 TG on a trailer?

I am getting ready to build a new garage and was wondering the overall length of a 38 on a trailer with and with out drive guards...the height to the top of the fairing would be great as well.
Thanks in advance,
Ken

Ken,
I built a 50' X 24' garage last year. My T/G is sitting on a 03' Myco with a drive guard. The rig is just over 45 ft. long from tip to tip. I made the ceiling 13' tall with a 4" I-Beam located in the ceiling for pulling engines. The garage door is 14' X 10".
If I could do it all over again, I would go 60' X 24'. This would give alott more room to move around the back of the boat.

Mine is 58' long w/12' ceiling. Plenty of length unless you want to leave the truck attached. Stood up on the bow the other day and cracked my head on the ceiling. OUCH Took 6 more bud lights to mask the pain. Go 16' tall, you'll thank me later.

Default bigger is best.....

I did a 30x53 with12' ceilings. 10x10 doors.. Go 60 and bigger doors. 24 might be a little narrow when you put cabs and shelves down both sides.. good luck

Been there, done that before. It's always when it's late and you're dead tired. Nothing like a split skull at 2 in the morning.

Will a 12' ceiling give me enough room to pull an engine? I've done the head crack thing plenty...learned to take the damn baseball cap off when I get in the garage.....
Thanks,
Ken

Maybe - as long as you don't have blowers. It would be VERY tight.
Rogman's is 13' and his TG sits low on his Myco - vs my TG on a steel Myco (mine sits higher). When we pulled his motors, there was only a few inches left. (He has HP500's) I would play it safe and go 13' to 14'.
Extra room could also depend on what chainfall you have.
