Default How to get the right gelcoat colors?

I am redoing a TG for a friend and it have four-five small gelcoat "cracks". And I am trying to figure out how to get the right gelcoat colors.

How have you folks done it? Repainted the whole boat?

take the boat to a local auto paint store that has a scanner and they can make up the right color gelcoat

none of those colors (except for maybe the white) are gel. you can get an aproximate color match by having a PPG supplier scan it with the Profit. this will give you a color that is either blendable or at the very least adjustable. buff the areas out before having the sample reading taken.

If you dont have access to an automitive paint supplier with an automated matching system they will have to be done by eye.
