Well if you are not forthcoming with details would I be correct in assuming that I should not be interested in this boat?
Unfortunatly I have not been to active on this fourm as i am currently boatless therfore i have no repor with people in the know...
I have been looking for an early 38 T/S 525 boat but i like the idea of not financing any of the purchase.
Thanks,
Jonathon
PS- In no way am I trying to come across as a ****.

Be interested - that boat is sweet. Also - in asking about a boat on this forum I would take every comment with a grain of salt unless it comes from someone who has recently seen and driven the boat. I did the same thing on a pantera I was looking at. I talked to the original owner and even the guy who sold it twice, they all said it was a pretty good boat - or atleast that was what they implied. I was never told what was really wrong with it. I did find out some good history, but nothing as far as how good or bad of shape the boat was actually in. I was all ready to close the deal, until my mechanic came out and told me it was going to cost atleast $10-15K just to make it right. So point being - if you are really interested then have a mechanic or surveyor look at it first.
