If someone plans to buy it, fix it, use it for a year, then sell it, you're right Old School, it's not worth it. But the saying is every boat is a hole that you throw money in.

If someone has the the garage space, and likes to work on projects, I would think the boat is worth at least 10-15K, especially with the trailer. I'd screw the cabin and maybe even the cockpit (unless it's rotten) for now, find some used engines to last a couple years, exchange the drives, and get the electrical up to par and use it. Work on the rest over the next 3-4 seasons.

You could probably get it to a running project stage and spend 30-35K if you did some of the work yourself. You are right though, it will cost over 50K by the time it's done.

The 1st step is someone needs to be serious enough to spend the $'s to survey it and see what is REALLY there. I just hate to see it rot away.

Maybe if I win the lottery...... :)
