If you can do the measuring of the lexan plate it would be appreciated. My boat is in storage a state away or I would measure the available plate area. I would like to order an aluminum powercoated plate asap, to be ready for install. Thanks

I got your email about the antenna, Go to that thread that I posted and check post #94 to see where I mounted it on the dash. I went over to see my old Bullet and measure the lexan plate.....but there was still snow and ice on the cover. Next weekend on that. Sorry...

I went with the Garmin GPS Chartplotter 430. The surface mounting kit will not require a fabricated plate (to make up for the existing hole being to large.) The existing hole (previously for the compass) is small enough, to cut for the surface mounting hole requirements. Thanks for all the information.
