I have xr drives with stock lowers on a 92 top gun with natural asp 650s. does anyone have advise is i should put sport lowers on them ?? thx i have never run the boat yet

i have a 99 35 topgun went from reg bravos to xrs with imco lowers boat is harder to get on plane and seems to have slowed down the boat a couple mph.
