Anyone try labbed maximus on a T.S. 38 top gun? Im curios to try them out.

Now I have one set Bravo I diam 15 1/4 Pitch 22 with Bravo I transom and 2 mercruiser 450

i ran 32 5blade maximus last year, loved me, kept the boat level, great out of the hole

im having throttle up build me some 5blade semi cleavers after i try some 6 blades to see if that helps

Thanks. Why are you turning them in? Faster? I have a cut down set of 32's that are now 31's labbed that i had on my fountain. Loved em on that boat. It was an 05 35x. Single step. I guess i will try em and see how they work.

It did gain about 1.5mph, but more importantly it raised the rpm 200 which was ideal for me, freed the boat up a little more, and the high speed handling is better,docking as they say suffers. But overall I like it better for me and my setup. Acceleration is amazing with 1.50 gears and 32 Maximus 5 blades. And no major drive problems,however I did send one of them back over the winter that was a little tight when I got it, they replaced a few parts and reset the tolerances for a very small fee and its going back on Monday. The guys at Max have been excellent to deal with. Hope this helps with your setup. This is a great venue to share info on, isnt it.
