MrCIG, your boat is sick!! It looks great, I saved a pic I found on here and set it as my desktop screen saver. The pic is you running at a good clip side view out of the water lowers and all!! What a beautiful boat.. What are you running for power, trans and drives? OOps never mind, I found that pic and some more when I just searched for "38 flat deck" on here. Looks like konrads and BBchevs.. Very nice..

Thanks Vintage. I love the boat it's not real fast but it has a great ride. The motors are 515 cu.in with Brodix aluminum heads. Konrad Drives and Beefed up Borg Warner trans.

Oooo, what mods have you done to the Borg Warners? Also, thats not a factory swim platform is it? I was thinking about one and wondering if I would go old school or just a white/red powder coated aluminum one. Now I think it would have to be nothing but mahogany and stainless, sharp!

Nope not mine. I'll probably go to the grave with mine.

Anyway Dave I'll be up by you in Reefpoint this year.

Mark how you doin??? Say hey to Jimmy for me.

You love it as long as your not thinking your buying a ride that won't need to be wrench all the time. These flatties are not new boats and it takes a lot of work to make them look and run like Mr.Cig's or Fox Hunter or mine.

Good luck

Russ, Good to see you back on the board. Hopefully we see you this summer. I will definetly tell Jimmy you said hi. He checks the board maybe once a week but doesn't post. All is well here looking foraward to summer..

Russ is right these are not turn key boats. Takes lots of time and $ to keep them going. If you like to run them the way they are built to run.
