Noobie question RE:38' Flat Deck
Afternoon fellas, I think I stumbled onto the holy grail of powerboat gold, there is so much info here that at this point I have thoroughly overwhelmed and confused myself. I've been poking around for a couple of weeks now searching for information about a boat that I have had reciently surveyed and am planning on buying depending on dyno runs and final inspection. Question: dose anyone know about or have info on this boat? I have been in contact w the owner and he has been very helpful, just looking for a second opinion Doctors....

Hey Noobie from another! Ahoy!!
I think I saw this on another forum...a week or two ago maybe another guys request for opinions?
I have the identical setup on an '83 hull ,just working my way through check lists and replacing drives..love my boat ,she's a
beast!
I can't say you can go wrong if it's been well maintained but
I have seen some later hulls possibly smaller dimensions at
lower prices, not allways builder of choice though. From what
I've been told these hulls will take you through hell and high
water and back!
Actually my boat came out of lake huron and michigan I
think..
Looks like a good buy enjoy! Bert

BTW- Kool-aid is thinking of a different boat...far as I know, no worries on Bill's. He also owns The Beast, a 1978 or 79 39 footer that should FINALLY be done this year after sitting at a certain engine shop for a number of years. Heard he brought it up to Wessyldyk to get it done.
