Default throttle cable ?

Have had my Cafe 4 times now and have to say there is nothing like it. WOW is the closest I can say. One thing I have noticed is I was getting about 4900 rpms max and the last time max was about 4500 rpms. Now being new and having a couple of good friends helping me out is this driver error? Thanks

When did you get the 4900 rpm. What was the air temp? How much fuel did you have in the boat? how many people? all of these things will effect your rpm and speed. How fast where you going @ 4900 compaired to the 4500 Rpm? you may have been over trimmed @ 4900.

@ 4900 rpm I was at 65.3 mph @ 4500 it was 60 mph by gps . The air temp was mid 70's the 1st time the 2nd it was about low 80's. The throttles are also uneven, I have to push up the starboard a little more to keep even rpm's with the port. Actually the first outing there were 5 people the 2nd there were 4. No matter what still had a great time.

Have you hit anything with the props?? Are you getting any vibrations? Throttle cables can be adjusted.

The only adjustment I could find was at the end of the throttle cable right underneth the airfilter. Is that the only adjustment?
