If I could figure out how to get rid of my other 2 boats, I'd probably buy it for that if it checked out.
Always a deal out there, when you can't buy one. Good luck with the sale. |
Want to sell it, wait three years, otherwise upgrade and trade it in.

$75k sounds like all the money as long as it passes a survey. Good luck with the sale!

If we had to spend 75k on a boat....had too, how many of us would buy this gun? Last year, most of us would have jumped on this boat at 75k. This year there is way too much out there that is underpriced-priced as "fire sale".
If you get an offer near it....take it. Good luck |
If you don't need the money or the space, I would hang on to it. It probably won't be worth any less next year and the best market is going to be early spring thru early summer.

I am not an expert on the market seeing as how I have only been in the Cig Market once, and probably won't be back in it for the foreseeable future, but 75 unfortunately seems like a lot of money when there are boats like this :
http://www.offshoreonlyclassifieds.c...o18923-en.html that are not a fire sale, and I have been watching this one for sale for a year or more I believe - 10k less ASKING price. Yes, I know TRS vs. Bravo, Kevlar vs. TFG, but still, I think at 75k you would be sitting on that boat for a while; a victim of the market, economy, and tougher lending criteria. Just the honest opinion of another guy with an old, rapidly depreciating cig!! |

http://www.offshoreonlyclassifieds.c...o18923-en.html You'd have to see them boat in person and compare the two. The lip ship boat is much more up to date looking. Ask anyone that's updated one it isn't cheap. If you're just looking for a cig to go boating then each would work. But in my opinion, $75K would move the lip ship boat pretty quick. From the appearance that's a lot of boat for $75K. |
