I'm guessing you aren't impartial looking at what boat you have.

Well, I am, (as I have only been tire kicking for years now- but buying this winter), and he's right - no real comparison.:party-smiley-004:

Man you guys are tuff but i can take it. Hey I sold my boat to get a cig and the boat in this thread is beautiful and one I would like to own. But no comparison you guys are right again. Lets say 99 for 99 same year boat. The Baja is way more refined than any Cig unless someone dumped an additional 50K into it for a major update. My Outlaw sat along side numerous cigs at different gathering both parked and running accross the ocean and it held it's own no problem. And i can't figure out why in the same price range Baja's sell much faster. And I noticed that the production numbers of the Baja's are over six times that of the cigs production yet there are far less Baja's for sale on line than Cigs. And I was told on this site in the Cig forum that the 36OL hull was the old 35 Mistress hull designed by Cig. and sold to Brunswick. OK enough defending my Baja, it made for a great first boat. Now i have to get shopping for a new boat.:ernaehrung004:

Cig's are custom boats, and valued for what they are, the top of the heap. Baja's are production boats, and they are everywhere, and their price reflects that.

If you're saying that a 99 Baja next to a 99 Cig of the same size, that they are the same value, I don't think anyone anywhere is believing it.:drink:

As to number of boats for sale, how long has baja been in production, and of those old boats, how many are worth even paying to advertise online? :party-smiley-004:

Wow I am surprised by this theread. I Dont know this 100K market very well but would have thought this boat would be closer to 100K. Maybe its my ignorance. when the first guy threw out 75K I thought Ill take it for that.

I really like the boat and good luck.

By the way someone said 1000 hp is a little low for this boat?

So what if I had 750 hp per side?

Or better yet what will it take to get it up to 80?

drpete3 07-31-2008 01:24 PM

Also tell me why this guy thinks he can get 97K for his fountain but only speculate 75K for this CIG?

Bottom line is that with $75K in hand, you can't have this boat.
