No problem. Just because the market is soft and there is alot of junk for sale, everybody assumes they can steal everything. A real boat, like yours , with the updates and in exceptional condition warrants more $$.

to be honest with you , I dont know.
we usually cruise around 3500 to 3800 rpms
the old motors topped out at 68mph ( 420 mercs ) 5200rpm, running 24 pitch props ( light load )
My mechanic is the only one that ever did wot when he installed the new power last year, I think max rpms was around 5500 to 5700, but he did not have the gps on.

Best looking straight bottom for sale right now. At 97K you will probably own it next spring but if someone offers you between the low of 75 and your asking price you ought to seriously consider the offer because it is still a 14 year old boat in a slow economy.

It is a great looking boat, but other people that need to sell set the market.

Further, most that can afford this boat and the upkeep, etc, would probably jump up the bit to a T/S.

I would have to disagree. Other mediocre boats that are distress sales have very little impact on a boat of this caliber. And, most people looking for a boat like this are stretching their budget already and cannot afford the extra coin for a T/S. This boat is a great looking boat for under $100K. It gives you a $300K look for under $100K. And,...needs nothing.

P.S. Or, you could buy a average boat for 60-75K and spend another 20-25K to make it almost as nice.

That boat will run 72 with HP 500's. 750 a side will get you in the poorhouse from buying Bravo outdrives.:D;)

I see your point. Anyone with a 100K topend looking for a gun, I couldn't imagine a nicer looking one, and they could be willing to pay full price. I'd definitely pay a bit more for this one as it has paint I really like, but others aren't as choosey when it comes to the looks it seems like.

However, if you'd prefer drop "only" a 100, but can swing a T/S, I'd think they'd just up it to a T/S somebody has to sell and will deal on. Just comes down to who's shopping at the time.

But I still think the "distressed sales" are bringing down the whole market, like it or not. You don't have to match them, but you can't price it like it was a year ago either. You can either lower the price to sell, or hold out and hope the guy who is willing to pay for exactly what you have comes along.

Yes, but when you have an exceptional boat with the right look, you have a much better shot of selling . You might have to wait a bit, you might have to weed through the countless bottom feeders, but in the end, you will get that one individual who knows what he is buying and will step up and pay top dollar to own a turn-key boat that looks and runs like a new boat.
