I'll tell you what... get back to me AFTER you have an engine built for you.
Experience speaks volumes.
I think that is what 4195 was basically getting at.
You can see that Wesco engines are more than $20k/ea.
And that does not include the headers on that boat.
Which could be 5k per engine.

Storm, I don't want to throw gas on the fire here, but I don't think $15k for a 600 - 650hp engine is out of line. I believe I could buy one in that range from a VERY reputable engine builder in our area that has built power for several high end boats on this board. The $15k would be not including headers of course. He may come on here a rebut what I've said, but with what I've seen in the past, I believe it to be very plausible.
