Has anyone had one of these gas spring lifts last more than a year

Mine lasted until last year. 2002 boat
Good thing i was in Miami so just walked over to Phil's and got a new set.

one set of mine lasted a month. needing to replace again. maybe i need to open hatches more & let the nitrogen move around.

i think they make them in stainless ! if you use the steel ones you better make sure your drain hole is always clear.

phil will ship them to you, they are 25-30 bucks each plus shipping, had mine in less than a week. i use him for all my parts that are cig specific and arent local. best customer service out there, and I dont even own a lipship boat...

Why would you buy another one if they only last a year?

Trash that junk and put in some hyrdaulic ones.

Phil, what's the problem with them? They aren't holding the hatches up anymore or they're corroding?

I replaced mine with some I got from Lip-Ship a couple years ago. They've worked perfect for the past two seasons. The ones I replaced were the originals. The port side still held the starboard side was very weak.
