Odyssey dry cell. Simply the best you can buy.

This one fits in my 02 TG battery box nicely:

Exide Nautilus. And I replace them every spring. A battery is one of those things that is tough to repair on the water and a common failure item. Why screw around?

One word... Walmart!

Good cheap marine batteries. Just replace them every two years.

Good luck!

In my experience, Optimas have been a complete failure. I have them in every one of my personal vehicles and all our shop trucks, but in boats- I learned that lesson. They just won't take discharging

One more thing on batteries- deep-cycles won't put out enough instantaneous current to crank over big CID or high compression engines. Especially if you flood one or have a really warm one- or alot of initial timing. And if you have a big stereo and run your cranking batteries down, that hurts them- drastically shortening their lifespan.
