He then tries to throw this sympathy party about how being a kid is hard, which somehow justifies lying to people behind a computer screen, even impersonating others to seem e-cool.
I can only assume this was the approach he took with his classmates in the past, which backfired eventually, making him an outcast. Rather than realize the self induced error, he throws another 50 gallons of gasoline on the fire by taking it to the net.
If you want to hang out around older people when you're much younger, you have to act much more mature than even an adult would be expected to. He's young enough to shape up and be a cool dude, but his future social life will only be a fantasy if he doesn't stop the drama.
