My old 28 Hull number ended in 73 - I believe alot of the hull numbers ended in the same numbers but the boats were titled in the year that they were sold. Mine was titled 74'. Nick-o-teens 28 ends in 73 but the boat was titled '76 (I believe).

Don sold Magnum in the 60's and bought it back in the 70's and then resold it in 76.
As stated above he also started Cigarette, '69 and was running that while he owned Magnum in the 70's.

As Charley said, Don started Cigarette in 1969. As far as 1973, George Bush's 28 Cigarette 'Fidelity' was a 1972. My earliest Cig was a 1974, so at 73 you be smack between a President and me, but he is a little more famous... lol. Brownie worked at Cigarette back then, he knows a ton about those days.
