Well, in my opinion it happens in every aspects of life...from cars to fast boats and luxury ones....i've seen a lot of ferretti and azimut being broken in the hull by running fast over the roks where i usually go noating (adriatic sea and croatian coasts...), sometimes driven by sons of 12 - 13 years old.... People has the money (in some way) buys the boats and the think that they can handle everything.....without knowing nothing.
A friend of mine bought a Squadron 20 mt, then made the license to driving it.
In the meantime he asked me and my father to "help him " making practice with dockings and things like that (note - we have a halmatic 50 ft and i have been on the sea for 30 of my 32 years...). Once he had the driving license done ($$$) he went out alone with his wife and nearly destrojed the boat by catching a piece of tree at 35 mph in the canal for going outside.....the catched 4 times low sea, the tird gut stuck in the sand and it costed him 20.000,00 € to have the boat dragged out by a nearby fisherman with his fishing boat.....broken propellers and shafts to be subsitutes...
His answer..well what's the problem, everyone can go in the sea, it's not difficult....
It is always Ok when no one has bad injuries and they still are alive, but some people must learn that all the things take their time.
Just a shame for the boat...always wondering what happens to these ones after they roll.
Just my Opinion

This is sad because boat schools are out there! I don't care who you are a new boat you have drive it dock it !The price you pay for a boat like this it's a small amount to pay expert before taking people for a blast at least 80-100 hours to learn the boat
