Powerplay won championships as well ,,in less time ,,if they would still race and be around they would probable win again.
If i had one i would. I sold mine ,,the stupidest thing i have done.

So don't even go there.

U all live on a LEGEND and NAME ,,thats it !!!
And like i said i like Cig's but if u compare a stock Cig with a stock PP ,,,NO CHANCE !!!!

Sorry again.
Um, I guess he failed to remember all the wins the Lip-Ship T/S won (world champion) in the early 00's (lucky strikes old boat). All the wins the 45' Rio Roses boat won in the late 90's, all the wins Tres had in the Virgin boat in the early 00's and of course the wins the current 46' Cig is having over seas (just to name some recent wins with new technology off the top of my head).

Besides the the imfamous stuff that killed the driver (see pic above) I don't recall much PP action in offshore racing. Any championships in recent years from a PP? Just wondering because he specifically said a newer Cig would fall apart in big water.

Ahhh, the debate goes on. What are you going to do? Can't blame a guy for loving his boat. But like others have said, saying a 33 PP is a better choice over a Gun? Whatever. There's a reason the Top Gun (and Apache) is the staple in rough water ride that is compared to by all others.

I personally like the PP's. I think their styling is very nice (they look like a Cig, what do you expect?). Had a friend that had a killer 33 PP 3 man bolster, staggared motor race set up. Killer boat and handled the rough well. But I'm sorry, it's like the old saying "size does matter". There's just no comparison to the lack of 5 feet in big water.

Seems like Daredevils thing is mainly about top speed, he's mentioned it many times.

<shrug>

Maybe he shoulda just bought a 32 Fountain instead if thats mainly whats important to him. Would have had much better resale value too.

No worries here, I certainly am not going to loose any sleep over his opinion.

All u guys are just toooo funny.

First i did own a 35 CAFE ,,second that whole discussion in the PP thread is about egual power ( stock ) and whats better overall ,,not just handling but also money wise.
So i just stated facts.
The newer wins ,,i have not forgotten from cig ,,but again cig had 200 raceboats since its debue or more ,,,PP only had 10 if that,,,and u all seem to forget that.

Its like who has more props,,,Herring or a boat owner.......

WHATEVER,,,,,,just so u know ,,i like cig's just not that much anymore,,because the optimum cig for me would be way to much dollars. And i hate paying for a name not a product.

Sorry

But keep on lieyng to yourself about the great boats u got...
Its a V hull like most of them with a nice design and a CIG logo on the side. LOL
