Almost any 2001 ,2002 Twin step is worth 110K - 115k today. Doesnt matter what they are asking , that is REAL money, which is what you will get on trade.

Deduct 15k for new paint
deduct 10k for non merc motors ( thats the new owners insurance policy if anything goes wrong with motors)
now deduct being a flat bottom.. 10k - 15k maybe 20k.

Nice looking and clean boat, but it is what it is

Ever hear the phrase: "We are our own worst enemy." ... ?

By the time you guys are done, you will want a check, the truck, and have him deliver it to your house.

Yeah, everything is doom and gloom with people giving the stuff away.....

That may happen some if people must unload in this economy, but someone with a nice product that doesn't have to sell it now will wait for the right buyer. And that boat IS worth more.

AND IMHO, I would take take boat over any early twin step with HP500's....

God, seriously...There's another saying that we've all heard...Opinions are like azzholes; everyones got one and most of 'em stink.

Whats this boat worth?...Every penny...How much you got? Make and offer and buy it. Unless you're buying or have a stake in it, your opinion is worth d!ck.

Just my .02

Not everyone that sells cheap has to. Perhaps they have found a new toy on the cheap and want to dump theirs.

My neighbor got offered twice what he paid for his boat a few weeks ago. I guess he should have taken it and "set the market."

Then we would all be better off right?

I believe it was a 99 with decent sized power and 3a's (maybe), but one motor was taken apart. So it definitely wasn't turnkey, but I think went for 70 ish. It was a cool boat.
