There we go. Thanks for the help and your time. I was just trying to get an idea on how big the boat and cabin was. I have never seen one so I didnt know. I have been in a Outerlimits 37 and a Powerquest 38 and wanted to get an idea as size to them.... Nice Funco. I have a Extreme Performance DTD right now. My last rail was a Buckshot.

If the 02 is in nice condition, buy it! Grafikworx paint and 500efi's are a plus.

I have been in the sand world for the last 8 years and am going to the boat world now. I know little to nothing about boats and have never owned one. I have done a lot of looking and I think I have seen every boat for sale on the entire internet. Lol. I think this one might work for me and wanted some input from the experts. I live in Michigan and the boat would spend a lot of time on Lake Michigan. Thank you for any input you have on this boat. Also, can someone tell me the cabin headroom height? I have looked through all threads and cant find the info.. http://www.offshoreonly.com/classifi...o29316-en.html
I don't want to come across as a jerk, but a 38' Cig as a first boat? Even with mild power, that's going to be a handful, around the docks if nothing else. Please take the advice of the first couple of folks who responded and save a few grand to go to a serious driving school. And not just you, but your spouse as well if you are married, as there is always going to be the chance she will have to get you home. If she is anything like my ex, you will have to fight her to drive! :D
I love boating, and learned the old fashion way, so yes, I'm old school. :) And the more folks out there having fun the better. But I was hesitant to step up 10' in length, even after driving a 30' boat a good deal of the summer. Had a good friend who used to race boats not said he would be totally comfortable riding with me in a 38, (it was his 30 I was driving) I would have still been hunting for a 30 instead of going with a 35.
Just me.... But whatever you get, have fun and be safe! :) You can't go wrong with a Cigarette either way you look at it!
And edited to say, THANK YOU for you service in the sand!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Glad you made it back safely!!!
