I like the setup with HOs. Good looking boat with lots of potential. Good boat to buy with upgrade in power later on while keeping the initial price down in the beginning.

The boat was mine and is perfect. It is a lip ship edition and the 496 motors are freshwater cooled and the HO 425hp. It runs 75 on the GPS.

With the 496's in it, that would be a fun boat to make the Great Loop on!!

Where does the 2.5/3 ft come out compared to 38'? I've read that the cockpit is the same, engine compartment is the same, so I 'm guessing it comes out of the bow?

Also is the cockpit and engine compartment as deep as a 38? it seems like it is shallower.

It is in the bow
The 35 has smaller fuel tanks
The cockpit is exactly the same not any shallower, engine compartment is the same and the cabin is the same
The 38 has a set of cleats halfway between the bow and cockpit that the 35 doesn't, the 38 has a notch in the transom also that the 35 doesn't

Thanks -- How did you like your 35? how much difference is there in ride between a 38 and the 35?

Had to let it go. Last year was tough on business. The bow I think. I used to have a 38 and the cockpit is the same. It may be a liitle shallower but not the cockpit. Trust me when I tell you this boat needs nothing except a GPS. The pictures dont do the boat and paint justice and it was always stored inside and very reliable.

I loved the boat and have nothing bad to say about it other than I had absolutely no time for it. Rode and handled great. The only time i could really see a difference in the ride over my 38 was anything greater than 5ft seas but cruise all day at 50-60 and still be somewhat economical.

I don't think that is correct and here is why, Did a poker run in 2002 and tide up with a gun, the gun had a good 3-4 inches more of freeboard.
