I don't really use mine alot, maybe 30-35 hours per year. But, its nice to know that it is sitting on the lift and there if I want to use it. You cannot beat pride of ownership and the satisfaction it can give you all throughout the year.

Sorry I said the "B" word early in the post and started this mess. I was just joking. I'm just like the older Cigarettes because the hulls are so strong. 1994 and NO stress cracks. The survey company told me a baja will have more stress cracks in the hull in ONE year than a Cigarette will have in 10 years. Older Cigarettes are slower, but built tuff. Anyway, I'll check this post Friday to see what I just started again. By the way... Cigarettes are better!:evilb:

No worries!! We are just busting b*lls. Kevins boat looks and from what I hear runs fantastic. Breaking 80!!! Can't wait til I can go for a rip!! :drink::drink:

Ya'll are making me have second thoughts about selling my 1994 Cigarette. I've had 2 people email me about my boat since this post has started. They wanted pictures. I know if I sell the boat, I will most likely never be able to afford to get another one and still retire one day. Also, I will miss looking at her in my garage during the winter. She puts a smile on my face. I also like spending time with her alone in the garage while my wife watches her dumb soap operas on the DVR in the house with the kids. If I get rid of the her, I'll be loosing the one thing that I worked so hard to achieve. Hummmm....what to do?

Financially, selling the boat would be the smart thing for me. I don't like it, but I really need to think about retirement. I'm 40 yeas old and I don't have much money saved up. I don't want to work until I'm 75. I have a 23 Chapperell Deck boat that I can use that has a blazzing top speed of 40 mph. :eek:Weeeeeeeeeeeee! One step up from a pontoon boat. I wish I made more money! Is there anyone out there that has millions and millions of $$$$ that they would be kind enough to donate $75000 so I can keep the boat?:lolhit:

Ive owned at least 8 to 10 boats over the last 15 years. Everything from Donzis to Checkmates to Eliminators. When I finally bought my Bullet, a long time Top Gun owner said to to me," Now your part of the family. You have no where else to go from here, ...except a bigger Cigarette!" I think Im going to have this one for a long time......even if it is an "antique" !!! Jason and I are friends and have been bickering about Cigs and Bajas for awhile now. Its all in good fun. He breaks my balls and I break his. He had a beautiful 30 Outlaw that he just sold. He told us he sold it because he was goin to be a new dad.....we all think its because he wants to buy a Cigarette instead! See ya Sunday Jason. (Well, apparently Ill only see the back of you head all the way to NY !!!!)
