Are saying I would have to do transom work to change the outdrive or is there something that will bolt in place? And I do believe you are correct, I remember the outdrive hangin very low. I thought it looked especially low for the shallow transom of the boat.

Usually you have to re-cut the transom when you make a major change like that. You would also potentially have to move engine / trans mounts, etc. It is not a small project!

If the transom is soft, or you are planning other work, that is the perfect time to do it.

Well you guys arent going to believe this one but.. Im not buying the boat. He has had problems with the outdrive, that and no t&t, I really wanted to update the outdrive but theres no way in hell Im gonna cut onything on that boat. Because I had to agree to sell it back to him if I was ever to get rid of it and it not being a totally family friendly boat well, it isnt coming to my house because the wife leaving me over it would just cost more than that boat would ever be worth.

Anyway, heres some pics just for the hell of it..

Let him know if he want to sell her. I would be interested. I'll even agree to sell her back to him if I decide to sell her.

I'm just down the road a piece in King William.

There are options aside from the TRS. A Konrad Drive is one option. Let me know if I can be of assistance.

Very cool!

I told him today that I posted up on here and what all you fine gents replied. He said he was already a member of this site so I told him to check this thread out. He could use some knowledgeable help with the boat for sure.

Rod, you seeing this yet?
