Thanks Magic, As far as the financing goes I was approved in less than 30 min for a 35' Mistress that is 26 years old and had insurance with in 15 minutes quoted @ $733/year which was cheaper than my Sunsation:coolcowboy: I don't know which way to go right now the thought a 35' is sweet a real 35' there is a few Cafe's that I really like but that depends on what the price will be. It seems the 30's are like finding a unicorn chilling in the woods in the winter:lolhit:

Agreed the 30 are RARE, like your analogy!!!! Who you using for financing and insureance?? My current insurance source wants nothing to do with a boat that a #1 on the side:bsflag::angry-smiley-038:

I did not know it was for sale:party-smiley-004: You are right it seems real clean and that is what I like!

My boat actually was not for sale, but if I found a Cafe(stars and stripes) or TG really reasonably priced, I may sell mine. PM me if interested in a price and list of options/upgrades. 80+ MPH boat on a trailer and a new air dock.

It depends on the states. Some states have agreements where you pay the lesser of the two in state and the remaining when you get home. Others you pay the entirety in your home state.

You will pay MI sales tax, shouldn't pay any other states. (I think you're in MI obviously)

Some states may have a reciprocity deal, where if you buy from a dealer you can pay MI sales tax to them I believe.

Also, some CU's will accept a survey rather than NADA if you are struggling w/ value.

You must be doing a fairly short term loan for them not to balk at financing an 80's boat. Michigan First is another fairly easy to deal w/ local CU.
