I notice the steering is a bit different. I see the rams on the inside and along the side of the drives. Is this new?
I have also been considering this conversion. I need 100mph in my life.

how much further back is the prop as compared to a #6 or an IMCO SCX? is the center line of the prop shaft that much higher?

This is how the #7M's steering is. A lot cleaner than previous models.

It's very similar to a Bravo on a box or a #6 Merc. The propeller shaft is trimable so it can be up or down in comparison to others by the touch of a button.
